Bootlace is a closed cattery, and we do not offer stud service,so please, do not ask. We are not offering any cats as breeders at this time . All our kittens will be going to loving pet homes. Show kittens may also be available on occasion, to the right home.

BootLace takes the responsibility of placing our kittens in good homes very seriously. We have plenty of questions for you, and welcome any questions you may have for us as well.
Kittens are ready to go to their new homes between the ages of 12 - 14 weeks of age. By this time, the kittens are eating well on their own, using the litter box, are scratch post trained, and well socialized. They will also have had all age related vaccines, to start them on a healthy life. Please, do not ask us to sell you a kitten at a younger age, as it is not in the best interest of the kitten, and we will not do so.
Kittens are all sold under a contract, and come with a health guarantee, to be free of genetic defects for a year. Should the kitten develop a genetic defect that is life threatening, or requires extensive care, BootLace will take the kitten back, and replace it with a kitten at the earliest possibility.
It will be your responsibility to have the kitten checked by your veterinarian within 48 hours of taking possession of the kitten, to verify the kittens good health. Should a problem be found, BootLace is to be notified immediately.
We have a questionaire for you to fill out, if you are interested in adopting a BootLace kitten. You will find it here Please copy and paste it into your email, and answer the questions for us. Be sure to add any questions you may have for us as well. We always welcome the chance to be able to discuss our cats with you.
We prefer that new owner's come to our home to pick out, and pick up thier kitten, so you can see how the kittens and cats are cared for, but we realize this is not always possible. Therefore, we do offer shipping. All costs associated with getting your new kitten to you, will be your responsibility. This will include the air fare, health certificate, kennel, gas, and any other charges that we will incur to ship your kitten to you. We are also happy to meet you part way, if possible, but again, any charges associated with this, will be your responsibility.
Adopting a kitten is a full time responsibility, and we need to assure ourselves that the kitten will receive the same loving care with you, as he/she receives with us. These kittens depend on us, to find them good loving homes, and we will not let them down.
Adopting a Birman kitten is adopting a bundle of love, who will give you unconditional love, and they deserve the same in return.
